The East Midlands Conference Centre and sister brand, the University of Nottingham Conference Centres, has chosen Confex to unveil plans to reposition both brands under the new title of Nottingham Conferences. The existing two brands will then undergo further development into three sub-brands underneath this new banner. The East Midlands Conference Centre will remain as its own sub-brand, but the University of Nottingham Conference Centres will be further split into University Park and Jubilee Campus. Marketing Manager, Kirstie “As our portfolio of products has continued to develop and we have continued to listen to customer feedback, it has become clear that we have an opportunity to clarify the complete range of products on offer, underneath a title that explain the depth of the range as well as the flexibility that it represents. “The new branding exercise has been in development for some time and we are now in a position to reveal the way forward. “We are creating a new overall brand for our products and services which will be Nottingham Conferences. This overall brand will be used as the leading brand for the web site, brochures and exhibition stands. Below that will sit the three sub-brands of The East Midlands Conference Centre, University Park and Jubilee Campus. “This clarifies and simplifies our offer to all our customer groups and creates a new entity that presents a very clear and strong marketing presence. It also allows for us to develop all three sub brands further.” It’s an exciting move for the venue brands and complete roll out of the creative exercise that supports the decision will be seen over the next few months.
